Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following counties, Brantley, Glynn and Wayne.

* WHEN...Until 1245 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 932 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall

Flooding in Brantley, GA; Glynn, GA; Wayne, GA can cut off roads with little warning, damage homes near low-lying areas, and disrupt power and water service. Even a few inches of moving water can carry away a vehicle.
