* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Kansas, including the following counties, in south central Kansas, Butler, Cowley, Sedgwick and Sumner. In southeast Kansas, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Wilson and Woodson.

* WHEN...Until 1215 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

Flooding in Butler, KS; Chautauqua, KS; Cowley, KS; Elk, KS; Greenwood, KS; Sedgwick, KS; Sumner, KS; Wilson, KS; Woodson, KS can cut off roads with little warning, damage homes near low-lying areas, and disrupt power and water service. Even a few inches of moving water can carry away a vehicle.
