* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Yentna River.

* WHEN...Until noon AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water could enter a few low-lying cabins along the Yentna River, particularly near Lake Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 139 PM AKDT, recent heavy rains have caused rapid river rises. Minor flooding is expected to continue, especially along the Yentna River near Lake Creek. - For Yentna River at Lake Creek: At

Flooding in Western Susitna Valley can cut off roads with little warning, damage homes near low-lying areas, and disrupt power and water service. Even a few inches of moving water can carry away a vehicle.
