* Flash Flood Warning for... East Central Wayne County in south central Illinois... Central Edwards County in southeastern Illinois... Northwestern Wabash County in southeastern Illinois...

* Until 200 AM CDT Monday.

* At 758 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Flooding in Edwards, IL; Wabash, IL; Wayne, IL can cut off roads with little warning, damage homes near low-lying areas, and disrupt power and water service. Even a few inches of moving water can carry away a vehicle.
