* IMPACTS...At 20.1 feet, Flood of Record occurred on February 21, 1961. Some homes in the

Flooding in Jackson, MS can cut off roads with little warning, damage homes near low-lying areas, and disrupt power and water service. Even a few inches of moving water can carry away a vehicle.
