* At 1253 AM EDT, Doppler radar continues to indicate training thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding

Flooding in Davidson, NC; Forsyth, NC; Guilford, NC; Randolph, NC can cut off roads with little warning, damage homes near low-lying areas, and disrupt power and water service. Even a few inches of moving water can carry away a vehicle.
