* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 525 PM HST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to locally heavy rain over South Kona and Kau Districts. Rain rates have decreased, but some minor flooding impacts could be ongoing in the advisory area. Rain was falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1.0 inches per hour.
Flooding can cut off roads with little warning, damage homes near low-lying areas, and disrupt power and water service. Even a few inches of moving water can carry away a vehicle.
