* Flash Flood Warning for... Sabine Parish in northwestern Louisiana... Northern Sabine County in eastern Texas... San Augustine County in eastern Texas... Shelby County in eastern Texas...

* Until 145 PM CDT.

* At 1039 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen over the past 3 hours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Flooding in Sabine, LA; Sabine, TX; San Augustine, TX; Shelby, TX can cut off roads with little warning, damage homes near low-lying areas, and disrupt power and water service. Even a few inches of moving water can carry away a vehicle.
