• 911 emergency dispatch centers
• Municipal reporting systems
• Emergency management agencies
• Verified news sources

You agree NOT to use Alert USA to:

• Interfere with ongoing police investigations
• Harass, stalk, or target individuals or locations
• Spread false information or create panic
• Attempt to identify victims or suspects
• Use data for discriminatory purposes
• Reverse engineer or abuse the API
• Violate any local, state, or federal laws

5. User Responsibilities

• Verification: Verify information through official sources before taking action
• Safety First: Do not put yourself in danger to investigate incidents
• Respect Privacy: Do not attempt to identify individuals involved in incidents
• Report Responsibly: Only submit truthful information when reporting incidents
• Emergency Protocol: Call 911 for emergencies, not Alert USA

• Alert USA platform design and functionality are protected by intellectual property laws
• Crime data comes from public records and official sources
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
• User-submitted content grants us license to use for service improvement

• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features

• Users may submit crime reports and safety information
• All submissions must be truthful and accurate
• We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove content
• False reporting may result in account suspension
• You retain rights to your content but grant us license to use it

• We are not responsible for third-party service actions

12. Subscriptions

Alert USA offers Free, Pro (the Family/Household plan), and Professional. Current prices, billing intervals, trials, and capacity limits come from our server catalog and are shown on the subscription page before checkout.

• Critical alerts, verified facts, source links, corrections, and core safety guidance remain free.
• Pro and Professional sell additional private capacity and team workflow utility, not different emergency information or emergency response.
• Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew automatically until canceled.
• Cancellation stops future renewal; access continues through the paid period, subject to the subscription status shown by Stripe.

13. Geographic Scope

• Alert USA serves all 50 US states, DC, and US territories
• Coverage and source availability vary by location
• Users should verify critical information with the linked official source
• These terms are governed by applicable United States law

14. Age Restrictions

• Alert USA is intended for users 13 years and older
• Users under 18 should have parental supervision
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13
• Parents are responsible for monitoring their children's usage

15. Termination

• You may stop using Alert USA at any time
• We may terminate access for terms violations
• Termination does not affect previously granted licenses
• Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy guidelines

16. Changes to Terms

• We may update these terms as needed
• Changes will be posted with updated date
• Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes
• Major changes will be highlighted in the app

17. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by applicable United States law
