Data Deletion Request

If you signed in to Alert USA using Facebook and wish to have your data removed, you can do so using either of the methods below.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

Open alertusa.news and sign in to your account.

Go to the Profile tab.

Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete My Account". Your data is removed immediately.

Option 2 — Email us

Send a deletion request to contact@alertusa.news with your name and email address. We will delete your data within 30 days and send you a confirmation.

Option 3 — Remove app from Facebook

Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.

Find Alert USA and click Remove. Facebook will automatically notify us and we will delete your data.

What data we collect

When you sign in with Facebook we receive only your name and email address. We do not store your Facebook ID or any other Facebook data.

What happens when you delete

All account information (name, email, saved locations, and community reports) is permanently deleted from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
