Last updated: March 24, 2026

Alert USA ("we", "our", "us") operates the emergency alert platform at alertusa.news. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

When you create an account or sign in with Google or Facebook, we collect your name and email address. If you provide it, we also store your phone number. When you add locations, we store those municipality names and optional GPS coordinates.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the Alert USA service — sending you relevant emergency alerts for your saved locations, enabling community crime reporting, and managing your account preferences.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Sign-In

If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive only your name and email. We do not receive your password or any other account data from those providers.

Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your data at any time. See our Data Deletion page for full instructions.
